Activity: find or create your own reader's theater script and post it here. Alternatively, get some friends together and record a reader's theater radio show.

Reader's theater is a dramatic genre that encourages students to work on fluent reading without requiring memorization the way standard theatrical scripts do. Reader's theater scripts can be created from most children's books or collections of folk tales. These can be the basis for other dramatic forms such as the radio play (recording a story using voices and sound effects) or a puppet show.
